Today P4-7 enjoyed a cookery demonstration from Arlene Thompson from the Livestock & Meat Commission NI. The children found out about the farm-to-fork journey of Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured beef and lamb. They also learnt about the importance of a balanced diet and healthy eating.
Every child went home with a recipe book and a pencil.
We were even fortunate enough to get a taste of the delicious chili beef pasta.
