The children really enjoyed participating in 'Democracy week'. Mid and East Antrim Borough council provided all the materials needed for the pupils to chose their favourite author. They had the opportunity to experience all elements of the election process, from the reading of the manifestos, to casting their vote in a specially provided ballot box.
